2005 Summer Party, July 23, 2005
For our second year over 125 residents and guests came to enjoy an afternoon barbeque, live music and our second "Hoods in the Woods" Car Show.
This years event included 25 collector cars, trucks and 3 unique motorcycles. (Click on the photos below for larger views)

| A special treat at
this years event was a presentation of a 1931 Ford Model A Tudor made to a
long time Whiting Woods resident by his family. This car, owned by the
resident for 30+ years had been under restoration that entire time.
However, the completion of the restoration project was undertaken by a
next door neighbor boy, now a young man, and came as quite the pleasant
surprise to its owner. |
